Simona Onori was invited to present in the SURGE/SESUR faculty seminar with over 40 students in attendance

Simona Onori was invited to present in the SURGE/SESUR faculty seminar with over 40 undergraduate students from geophysics and different fields of engineering from Stanford and outside of Stanford in attendance. These students enjoyed a presentation where Onori shared her experience in STEM and what pathways lead her to her current position. She shared current research on sustainable mobility and energy storage devices, such as lithium-ion batteries, and how her background in control and optimization helped her make contributions in the field of sustainable mobility. After the seminar was over, all students enjoyed interacting with her over lunch in the Arco Courtyard.
