ESE Wellness
ESE Wellness Mission
In the Department of Energy Science & Engineering we want our exceptional students to thrive during their time at Stanford. The initiatives we foster support mental health and wellness among our graduate students, as well as everyone in the department, to be aware of existing campus resources and workshops on health and stress management.
We see ourselves as community-builders by organizing fun events to nourish the feeling of community and provide relaxing breaks in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. Come recharge your batteries with us!

Windhover Contemplative Center
Windhover reopened this spring after an extended closure to repair extensive storm damage. The center provides spiritual refuge to inspire and promote personal renewal. Retreat to the center and adjacent outdoor labyrinth for calm and peaceful reflection.
Wellness Resources
There are a variety of wellness resources available. Let us know what we can add!
Our 2025-26 student liaisons Audrey McManemin and Emma Kerr are available for support and guidance to specific resources. Please feel free to share your wellness ideas and resources with us -- our door is always open.
